Rod Rafael is the active Dealer Principal of Truck Sales & Service, Inc. and a Member of Truck Sales Leasing LTD. Rod graduated from Tuscarawas Central Catholic High School in 1971. Right out of High School he was employed by CanTex in Newport, Ohio. Then, in 1972 he started his career with Truck Sales & Service, Inc. A successful career to say the least with over 50 years in the truck dealership industry. As part of that success, Rod credits the importance of learning TEAMWORK at an early age. Everything from playing team sports for TCC to working within various departments of the Truck Sales & Service organization. That TEAMWORK paid off 15 years into his career when he had the opportunity to become a partner in the business, then eventually in 2007 purchasing the company. To this day the organization thrives on the principles of TEAMWORK and over the years continues to provide a positive work environment for 100+ employees in 26 counties. Rod is active in his community and has served on several voluntary boards throughout the years. As in every community, addiction issues “hit close to home”. Because of his experiences both personally and professionally, Rod feels that giving back to his community is rewarding. He believes in helping to make a difference and giving back to those in need and giving people a second chance.
